What is you motivation into starting a business on the Internet? What are you really hoping to achieve, today, tomorrow, next month, next year, five years down the line? These are all questions you should be asking your self and answering, before you start a business on the Internet.
If it is only the promise of making quick money, and never having to work again, then thing again most of the scheme's programs, etc offered on the Internet will not make you that quick money, you may be better off staying in that 9 - 5 job, where you are guaranteed of a pay check at the end of every month.
Sit down and write out a list of goals, starting with your daily goals, right up to about five years down the line, where or what would you like to be by then. Look at it, tweak it, maybe some of the things are not really what you want or need. Priortise the list, what is the most important item on that list, what is the least.
If your list and the goals on it seem huge steps, then you need to break them down into smaller more achievable bits. Think of the ladder, to get to the next rung on it how much do you have to climb. If they are closer together the easier it is to climb. So too should you have build your goals list. Every day, week, month I will do this to work towards achieving this goal. By xyz I want to be here.
Once you have your list of goals, type or write it our neatly, or you can tape it, either audio, or video it, but do not tell anyone else about your list or your goals. At least if you do not achieve something in the time frame no one else but you will know about it. Then put it somewhere where you can see it every day, or listen or watch it every day. You decide when you wish to listen to it or watch it.
Now you have an idea of what you want and what you want to achieve, you have goals to work towards. Without it, when you are working hard, trying to achieve some success, you may forget why your are working so hard at it and decide to throwing the towel. With it, the work will have more meaning in why you are doing what you are. What it takes to build your business, making it successful will be all the more worth while as these are the reasons you are doing it.
What you do have to remember that making money online is not as easy as they would have you believe. It requires a lot of hard work, orginisation and planning. You need to have a clear picture as to why you want to work on the internet as apposed to having a main stream job. You need to know that you may fall a few times, buy into things that are not what you thought they were when you read the Advertising Hype, that got you into the program in the first place.
You will not be the only one out there who has had good and bad experiences starting out, yet if you want to succeed you need to keep working at it not matter what. Take the knocks, pick your self up and carry on. Go back to your list of goals, what brought you here in the first place. Why are you here. If nothing else in that experience you will have learnt some thing and learnt something of value.
I have in my research looking for my own Home business, found out a lot of things, and tried a few, not all have worked as successfully as I would have hoped, yet others I find very rewarding, and as with everything, the Internet is changing and the way people are doing marketing is changing to the way it was done a few years ago.
